After nearly twelve years with Aviva Investors, Liam Spillane has moved to a new senior role at Manulife Wealth & Asset Management, heading up the firm's UK-based emerging markets fixed income franchise.
Spillane managed Aviva's EM local currency bonds fund, while subsequently leading overall EM Debt strategy, from 2013 to 2025.
He replaces longtime pan-Asia fixed income leader Endre Pedersen, who had served as head and CIO for EM Fixed Income with Manulife since 2021.
