Theta is first to report that macro economist and strategist Graeme Douglas has departed his role at MKP Investment and will join $106 billion Tudor Investment Corporation.

Douglas, in a personal note, said he will remain based in New York after an eight-year run with MKP, where he leaves as managing director and was most recently appointed as Chief Americas Economist and Strategist earlier this year.

Prior thereto he also served with the Bank of England, and is a graduate of the London School of Economics.

In his note, Douglas highlighted the new role will be globally aligned, supporting Tudor's diverse strategy range that includes hedge funds, alternatives and private markets investment. MKP is a macro specialist driving absolute return, with approximately $13 billion under management.
